Recently Ashley Bryant a student who works during the School Holiday Programme and previously at Katikids has won the National OSCAR Youth Award 2012.

Age Concern are holding a seminar here on Wednesday 18th July from 10am – 11.30am.

Strengthening Communities Workshop & Funding Expo is being held here on Monday 21st May 12noon – 6.30pm. All major funders attending eg TECT, Bay Trust + many more. A serious of workshops  are also being run throughout the day. For more info email: kaye.hartnell@westernbay.govt.nz
